Michael Hall, MD

OB-GYN

Dr. Hall is a native, born and raised in Denver Colorado. He grew up in Park Hill area and went to Machebeuf High School. He then graduated from the University of San Diego, moved to Portland Oregon for Medical School, and back to Denver to finish his OB-GYN Residency at St. Joseph Hospital. He has been in private practice since 1981 and has been Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1983. He retired his practice in July 2018 and worked as a hospitalist at Swedish Hospital until January 1, 2020. In February 2020, as the COVID hit, Dr. Hall helped build a private practice for 2 1/2 years in Nebraska.

Dr. Hall’s practice has centered around high risk obstetrics, backing up the Family Practitioners and midwives in the community. He specializes in vaginal breech deliveries, vaginal twin deliveries, and VBACs, to save some mothers from having an automatic cesarean section when so desired and when they meet criteria. He believes a mother should be able to “birth” her baby in as natural an environment as possible.

Dr. Hall has been a teacher for 41 years, and is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the two Medical Schools in the Denver area and also did so while in Nebraska. Teaching has been an integral part of his practice and helps to teach the new practitioners the art of surgery and delivering babies not taught in the books.

Dr. Hall has 41 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, and looks forward to giving back that experience. He is now an part of the BELLA Health and Wellness Team, and proud to continue delivering babies, teaching, and helping mothers though the journey of LIFE, with the best team around.
