9 Days of Prayer + Fasting
Thank you for joining us in prayer. From August 7-15, 2025, we will be sharing daily prayer and scripture reflection texts.
Daily Reflections
-
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things you have not known.” – Jeremiah 33:3
Lord Jesus, you invite me to call to you, not halfheartedly, but with trust that you will respond. You promise to reveal hidden truths and wisdom I cannot see on my own. Today, I come before you Jesus with open hands, asking you to fill them with your direction, not my own plans.
Heavenly Father, for Bella’s lawsuit, I pray that you will reveal truth in powerful and undeniable ways. Show us the hidden ways you are already working for life to prevail. Give our team and legal counsel wisdom beyond their years, and the courage to follow your lead.
Today’s Invitation: Spend 10 minutes in silence, calling on the name of the Lord and asking Him to reveal one hidden truth you need for this season.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Now that you have heard, see all this; must you not admit it? From now on I announce new things to you, hidden events you never knew.” – Isaiah 48:6
Lord, you are the God of new beginnings. You delight in revealing things we could not have imagined, and you invite us to proclaim your goodness when we see it. Forgive me for the times I have been too distracted or doubtful to notice what you are doing.
For Bella’s lawsuit, I ask that you would do something entirely new, something that can only be explained by you divine power. Open the eyes of those watching to see your hand at work. Make us bold to declare Your goodness and the victory that comes from you alone.
Today’s Invitation: Write down one “new thing” you see God doing in your life and three things you are grateful for. Thank Him for it in prayer.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” – Isaiah 42:9
Lord, You hold both the past and the future. You see the whole story and invite me to walk forward without fear. Help me to release the “former things”, the regrets, fears, and disappointments that weigh me down, so I can receive the new things You are preparing.
I pray that in Bella’s lawsuit, the truth will be brought into the light and that this case will become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Help our hearts to stay rooted in trust, knowing that You have already gone ahead of us.
Today’s Invitation: Speak out loud three ways God has been faithful in the past, and thank Him for what He is preparing for the future.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” – Proverbs 3:5–6
Lord, too often I try to make sense of life with my own reasoning, forgetting that Your ways are higher than mine. Today, I surrender my need to understand everything, and I choose to trust You with my whole heart.
In Bella’s lawsuit, when the path forward feels unclear or overwhelming, help us to lean entirely on you. Guide every conversation, decision, and detail so that our steps are ordered by your hand.
Today’s Invitation: Identify one area where you’ve been relying on your own understanding, and intentionally hand it over to God in prayer.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.” – Psalm 119:105
Lord, Your Word is my steady guide in a world that often feels dark. Thank You for giving me Scripture to keep me grounded, encouraged, and moving in the right direction. Help me to take each step with the light You provide, even if I can’t see far ahead.
For Bella’s lawsuit, may Your Word light the way for every person involved. Let truth guide the process, and may each step taken be in alignment with Your holy will.
Today’s Invitation: Read one Psalm slowly and out loud today, asking the Holy Spirit to highlight a verse for you to carry through your day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14
Lord, thank You for fighting battles I cannot see and for carrying burdens I was never meant to bear alone. Help me to rest in the truth that You are my defender and that the outcome rests in Your hands.
In Bella’s lawsuit, we trust that You are fighting for truth and life. Quiet our anxious thoughts so that we can hear Your voice and remain steadfast in faith.
Today’s Invitation: Take ten minutes to sit in complete stillness, repeating the phrase, “The Lord will fight for me,” as you breathe slowly and rest in His presence.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Commit your way to the LORD. Trust in him, and he will act.” – Psalm 37:5
Lord, I commit every detail of my life to You. I place my plans, my relationships, my fears, and my future in Your hands, knowing that You will act in perfect timing.
I commit Bella’s lawsuit into Your care, trusting that You are working even now in ways we cannot see. Strengthen our faith so that we might continue to walk in obedience and peace.
Today’s Invitation: Write down one area of your life that feels uncertain, and pray over it daily for the next week, committing it fully to God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” – Psalm 32:8
Lord, what a comfort to know that You are my teacher, my counselor, and my guide. Your loving gaze never leaves me, and You lead me in the way I should go.
For Bella’s lawsuit, I pray that Your counsel will be clear to our legal team, witnesses, and leadership. Let Your wisdom direct each step and keep us aligned with Your truth.
Today’s Invitation: Before making any decision today — big or small — pause and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, then act in peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
-
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:19
Lord, You are always at work, bringing life and hope where it seemed impossible. Give me eyes to perceive what You are doing and the faith to step into it with joy.
In Bella’s lawsuit, we trust that You are doing something new — not just for us, but for the greater witness of life and truth in this world. Help us to be ready to receive it with gratitude.
Today’s Invitation: End these nine days by thanking God for every answered prayer, seen and unseen, over this period of reflection.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
